Price $1500 plus shipping. These are brand new and never used except for test runs at the factory. To make these operational, you will need a small oil cooler, a heavy generator (Eclipse P2 will work, as well as others), and some minor fittings. Please refer to descriptions below for more details on what is contained in the crates. At present time, I am searching for the above listed items to complete these projects so you can have a turn-key restoration kit. Phone for details!
Each case contains a manual which covers installation and operation of the APU, including items not included in this installation kit. The case is full of gaskets which appear to be enough to do a top end overhaul.
The manual and page showing installation. This APU is listed as standard equipment on one of the series of PBM Mariner and I believe they were used on PB4Y-2 Privateers. The Lawrance insignia is from another repair case for USAAF APU's but is present on the spares kit contained in this shipping pack.
Crate condition varies, and some are missing sides, but this one is representative of the condition of most of them.
The general condition is good, but there is corrosion present on most of these items. They were originally packed in Celluloid, most of which has deteriorated and fallen out of the crates. But as you can see in the photos, they are very restorable. Note the data plate (made of micarta sheet).
