Other General Notes: This aircraft is a project made up of the pieces from several different aircraft. It is a good start for at BT-13 project, and the hard to find airframe parts are here and ready to go. If you have any questions, please call 443-250-9037.
Wing Center Section. There is visible light surface corrosion on the bottom skin. Landing gear are intact- both scissors. There is visible intergranular corrosion on one of the supports for the left main gear. That is the only visible on the entire section.
Fuselage tubular and monococque. The tubular is in good shape, except for the rear longerons near the monococque attach angle. This was laying in the ground when I purchased the airplane, and is corroded. However, this is the only major corrosion on the tubular, only minor surface corrosion visible elsewhere. The monocoque is in fair shape. It was hit by shotgun blasts to each skin (4) on the outside. However, none of the stringers were hit and all are in good condition and appear useable.
In these photos, please note wing tips, empennage, front instrument panel, engine cowling, and a few assorted parts.
Outer Wing Panels. One set of outer wing panels come with this project. These were installed on an aircraft which ground looped, damaging the outer rib of one of the panels.
